Grammar and style correction
This is a monolingual review by a second translator. After the translation and initial review by the translator are completed, an additional monolingual proofreading is carried out by another specialist translator. The finished translation is checked for spelling, grammar, denotations (conceptual content) and connotations (association) before the final check is performed by our project managers.
This refers to the comparison of the source text and target text by an independent reviser. The translation undergoes bi-lingual proofreading by a specialist, i.e. the source text and translation are compared sentence by sentence and the translation is adapted to the original. This approach is based on the service specifications of the International standard for translation services ISO 17100:2015
This form of text review, also known as pre-print proofreading, is the final review of completed layouts of documentation, articles, brochures and proofs. Pre-print review primarily focuses on correct formatting, hyphenation, special characters, images, etc. It is usually done in view or print pdf.
